Salvia East Friesland Looking Stunning Today

The journey of the Salvia East Friesland from baby plants under cover in one of our tunnels onto more mature plants growing in our nursery to finally looking stunning on display in the garden centre today. This half-hardy perennial has lush green foliage which produces many spires of purple lavender flowers from May to September. It’s perfect for growing towards the front of a sunny border and is extremely popular with pollinators. Grow these Salvia in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Protect plants from excessive winter wet and shelter from cold, drying winds.
